Job Title: Roofing Installer – Commercial, Industrial & Institutional Projects
Job Overview
Join our experienced roofing crew to work on industrial, institutional, and commercial roof systems—commonly referred to as flat roofing. You’ll be responsible for full-cycle roofing services including removal, preparation, installation, and repairs. This role requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Roof Preparation
Remove existing roofing materials, clean surfaces, and repair any damaged sections to ensure a solid base.Material Installation
Install roofing materials such as membranes, shingles, tiles, or metal sheets according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.Detail Work
Accurately cut and shape materials to fit around vents, chimneys, or structural protrusions. Ensure all seams and joints are sealed to create a watertight system.Inspection & Repairs
Regularly inspect roofs for damage or wear. Replace or repair damaged shingles, flashing, or insulation. Seal leaks using caulk, roofing cement, or sealants.Maintenance Tasks
Perform upkeep such as clearing debris, cleaning gutters, and identifying early signs of damage to prolong the roof’s life.
General Requirements
Safety First
Always use proper PPE including harnesses, helmets, and slip-resistant boots. Follow all workplace safety guidelines and procedures.Tool Handling
Operate tools such as nail guns, saws, and hammers with precision. Maintain and store all equipment safely.Physical Fitness
